ScoreShelf is a free iPad app for keeping sheet music PDFs in one place, opening them quickly, and adding light handwritten notes while you practice. It is designed around a practical score library: import PDFs, jump back to useful pages, mark practice spots, and quietly look back on your practice history with a calendar-style heatmap and links back to the scores and pages you worked on.
What it does
- Import and organize sheet music PDFs for reading on iPad.
- Open scores in a focused reader with Apple Pencil markup for small notes, reminders, and practice markings.
- Save bookmarks for pages you need to return to quickly.
- Create Practice Spots for passages that need repeated work.
- View Practice History as a quiet calendar-style heatmap and reopen the scores and pages you practiced.
- Track recent practice time by score so the library reflects what you are actually working on.
