CopySkipper

CopySkipper is a clean, one-way folder sync for macOS.
It’s intentionally simple: it’s basically rsync with a friendly UI.

Quick start

  1. Drag your Source folder (left).
  2. Drag your Target folder (right).
  3. Click Sync now.
  4. Optional: enable Auto-run to sync on an interval.

Drop Source and Target folders, then press Sync now.

Note: CopySkipper performs a one-way sync from Source → Target. It does not merge changes both ways.

Troubleshooting

How do I cancel a running sync?

Click Cancel sync.

The progress looks stuck at 0%.

Deletions and metadata updates can move the progress bar slowly at first. The final completion state is accurate.

Auto-run doesn’t start immediately.

Auto-run triggers after a sync completes and the selected interval elapses.

Is this safe? Will it delete my files?

By default, CopySkipper copies Source → Target. Deletions happen only if you enable Mirror (rsync --delete). When in doubt, test with a small folder first.
